It started with a notice in the mail

I arrived home in time to receive the post before the outlet closed. As I withdrew the bundle from the post box, a shiver ran through me.

Alas what could it be that would cause such a feeling. The day was very pleasant, with temperature's well above normal for this time of year.

Taking the parcel cards to the clerk, she shuddered as she looked upon it, nodded & looked over both shoulders as she withdrew to the back to collect the parcel.

She quickly handed it to me, requesting that I leave at once for the parcel was creeping her out.

I assured her she was mistaken as I gathered the bundle...immediately feeling the weight of what lay within upon me.

I turned on many lights as I opened the carton, attempting to remove all shadow. My hope being it would limit what would occur next.

As the box within was removed, I stood numbed, drool slipping from my quivering lips.

What I saw next was burned into my mind's eye, like the spots a sun leaves on ones eyes upon looking at it without protection. The spilling forth of 4 Great Old Ones, their underlings gibbering from within the zip-lock bags seeking release.

The forces I had were pitiful compared to the greatness of these Old beings.

Alas, this is just the beginning of what lies ahead, I feel the portals of Pandora's box have opened & shall again to spill forth more in the future.

Needless to say with the Club night occurring tomorrow, my night shall involve scouring the tome to delve into the rules of dealing with these spawn's desire to take over our world.

YESSSSS!!!!!!

    1. Thanks Michael, this is one of those many kickstarters I've supported & am glad to see starting to arrive. These miniatures like the Zombicide ones will be so useful for so many other game systems.

    1. Thanks Paul, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Watching some of the game demo video's online helped as well.
