Core Space - Renton

This morning sees the last member of the Black Maria completed.

 Here is Renton, the Ex-Soldier

Being dressed all in black, you would think he would be the quickest figure to paint, but then we all struggle to then show various shades of black, so that hi-lights & shadows exist. I am pretty happy with my results on Renton


 So with that crew completed, I will be next moving to the crew if the Ion Hope

    I'm never happy with my black clad figure, but would be if I could get the effect you have.
    Love the stanc/pose of the figure too.

      Thanks Zabadak, I agree, its always a crapshoot as to whether an effect works. I've heard several methods of working with black. I try to use greys mixed with the black, but have also used blue. Another I have heard was using pink, but I have yet to test that. I agree, I also like this pose.

      From his description in the book, he does brood alot over protecting his crewmates, though always attempting to avoid violence.
