Aerodrome at EWG

This past Wednesday, Rudy brought out Aerodrome.

We had 9 guys out & opted for a Battle of Britain scenario.

We had 4 on 4. Here is the cockpit display where we have ammo, maneuvers, elevation bands & hit points.

I took a Spitfire piloted by the esteemed Biggles Smythe.

The Dogfight begins, with the swirling Me-109's & Spitfires jockeying for position.

Players plot 3 action's/maneuvers they will perform each turn. Based on their options they can also climb or dive during them.

The one niggly rule was in regards to firing, where you would plot if you were going to do a 1 or 2 second burst regardless of whether you had a target or not.

I think I would change that rule to you would shoot if a target appeared in your front arc. Shooting a 2 second burst would then require a jam test.

Otherwise it was a cool system with interesting mechanics. 

One ME-109 was splashed, while 2 of the Spitfires (mine included) were down to 1 hit of damage remaining.
