Frostgrave Archer & Infantryman, as well as something a little different

As I alluded to in a previous post I have been working on a couple of terrain pieces for use in Frostgrave / Mordheim, etc.

Followers will remember I picked up this globe curio at a garage sale back in May. Now it has been finished within a terrain piece.

I based it on an old CD, some styro-foam stairs & bits of balsa & tea stirring sticks.

I have been giving thought to having a Wizard who spends a couple actions viewing the globe will gain insight (such as a reveal spell) to find treasure. I will think on it more.

I was also able to complete another Archer (GW Plastic) & Infantryman (Perry? multi-part plastic).

I am continuing to paint up these types of figures to replace my Saga Welsh whom I have been using to fill out bands. I certainly have lots of these types of figures in various drawers & bins & its nice to be able to start actually getting some of them used.

A last image showing these fella's scaled with the terrain piece.

I have a few more Frostgrave related figures on the paint table, as well as a fountain I am working on (again based on a CD, thanks AOL for all these coasters!)

Thanks for stopping by.

  4. Fantastic work sir - great figures and an imaginative piece of terrain. All you need to do is replace the globe with a glitterball and you've got yourself a Frostgrave disco!

    1. Thanks Henry, the globe is interesting as some of the countries are labeled from an earlier time...ie: Russia is denoted as Tartars, very old world appeal!

    1. Thanks Chris, yes it could easily swap out as a XP giving objective. I was thinking of doing something with a Will check to activate it. Maybe needing a 16 to start & then reducing the requirement by 1 for each additional attempt. We shall see
