The scenario was modified to provide diminishing returns for those who drink. The first wizard to drink from it earns 100xp, the second 50xp, then any others will recieve 25xp.
We also planned to implement my morale rules. These are the same as what I posted, however we have decided amongst us that 25% is too low, thus we made it that a check would occur once a band had lost 50% if its members.
With Scott still maintaining the highest level Wizard, he retains the co-vetted cover spot!
This was the least bloody game the group has had since starting. The warbands didn't really engage one another. Scott was quite handicapped with only having 5 members in his warband, as the remainder were missing a game.
In fact we didn't have a single casualty from any of the bands. The critters of course did not fare so well.
The after action results were as follows;
Bob (Scott) 250xp, 2 treasures - 250gc, Potions - Demon in a Bottle, Explosive Cocktail; Grimoire - Call Storm.
Ludwig (Chen) 490xp, 2 treasures - 140gc, Staff of Power(2)
Eben (Me) 500xp, 3 treasures - 220gc, Potions - Demon in a Bottle, Strength, Healing; 2 Hand Wpn (+1 Dam)
We were not able to test my morale rules this time around, though I am sure that will change next game.
DEMON IN A BOTTLE FIGHT NEXT I HOPE!
ReplyDeleteHmm that has potential. If there is a dice roll involved, Scott will get an imp HAHAHAAHA
DeleteAny chance the dice have to F%*& me over, they will.
DeleteAnother top class presentation Terry.
ReplyDeleteThanks Michael! Looking forward to the Pulp Alley Game I am having at my place on Remembrance Day now!
DeleteNearly missed this AAR, ans so glad I caught it!
ReplyDeleteAwesome stuff Terry - I'm not a "Frostgraver", but your write ups STILL make a terrific read :-)
Thanks Wargame Addict. If I was half the wordsmith that JP Price is, I would need to up the price to at least $1.00 8D.
