Well once again I am off to a shambling start at best, only getting 1 miniature done for the start of Zomtober.
To be fair however I did get all of this months chosen rebased, so had to watch a lot of hours slip by while waiting on glue to dry thoroughly.
Enough excuses however, here is Kat, a character from the Z War Damnation core box.
So what I can tell, this lass dual wields 44 Magnum's & sports a Katana for the up close & personal side of things.
The fact she can fire a 44 Magnum single handed, I take my hat off to her. I near broke my wrist when trying the same stunt when I had that opportunity. Perhaps that's why she is wearing the wrist bands.
Normally my painting days are Sundays, so once the Turkey hits the oven today, I hope to get some more zombie time in downstairs.
Thanks for checking in!
Nice work on Kat, Terry. Great stuff. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Pulp! Wait til you see the zombies. They are pretty gruesome!
DeleteI had the same experience with a 44. To be fair, she's more ripped than either of us so maybe she can handle the kick better?
ReplyDeleteShe best hope so, as its into the hordes for her!
DeleteAwesome work dude. Another game I'd like to of picked up.
ReplyDeleteThanks Simon, they just finished a follow-up Kickstarter to this system, so perhaps there is still opportunity for late pledges.
DeleteLooks good. She seems fairly well set up for surviving the apocalypse.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kieron, she better be, her wimpy sidekick seems to be the veritable brainiac coward.
DeleteBrilliant stuff Terry! I've never heard of Z War Damnation, looking at your older posts they definitely have some neat figures. Can't wait to see you paint them up 🙂
ReplyDeleteThanks Ivor, here is the boardgamegeek article

Wow! An 8.2 rating!!?? That's pretty impressive, and a higher rating than TWD All Out War. Guess I'll need to keep an eye on those rules.
DeleteGreat brushwork on her, though a very unplausible idea of handling two magnums, let alone holding one in the air for now reason.
ReplyDeleteWell that's the thing with those who create miniatures without having used an item in real life...it doesn't diminish her kick butt attitude however.
DeleteExcellent work Terry would a great miniature
ReplyDeleteThanks Gobbo!
DeleteI got to fire a .44 once and I agree one handed shooting was very difficult. Tidy miniature.
ReplyDeleteYep, glad I got to in my youth. Fired that along with a .357, Luger & a couple other hand guns.
DeleteYeah... her arms are a bit puny for that. Still, it's zombie fighting - who's counting for realism's sake?
ReplyDeleteLovely work Terry
Thanks Dai!
