Remembrance Day Gaming Afternoon

With the ceremonies honouring our fallen having been completed it was then time to head out to Bruce's house.

Bruce hosted several of us to our Annual Remembrance Day Gaming Afternoon a his place for some Pulp Alley.

This year, & this is a first for Bruce, he ran 3 scenarios from the China Station Campaign. We also had several new folks out, that had never played Pulp Alley before.

For the first game, we had just our leaders, who had to search about trying to find the others who were missing from the team. There were however guards that were about to hinder this operation. There wasn't much player interaction as we were all focussed on finding our members. Not all were able too.

The 2nd scenario had us asking about Shanghai to determine where our missing members were.

It turns out that most were in the prison (The fort at the bottom of the image above.)

We were able to interact with the patrolling guards, who if we were successful, gave us locations of them. Luckily Kurt was able to bust open the prison gate & allowed our missing members to escape.

Then it was time for scenario 3. In this instance we had to escape onto the paddleboat.

The only problem being, there was only so much room. 12 spaces to be exact. Too add further quandries, there were several much sought after NPC's who, if we could manage to get them to the boat too, would provide some goood VP's

There were a couple of thrown dynamite sticks, however they never quite landed where intended. And again...

My Captain made it to the boat. And then stood at the rail, watching the shenanigans to follow

As the various factions arrived, blockages ensued as noone was able to pass opponents without being engaged. Many weapons were discharged & fisticuffs followed as time was quickly running out.

And my final image, showing the bottleneck at the docks.

Thanks Bruce for hosting this event! I am sure many of the players will look forward to next year to seek revenge!

  2. What an excellent looking set-up and what a treat it must have been to have linked scenarios.
