IHMN Scotland Yard Constables

Just a short post this eve, as I ended up with more in progress miniatures than completed.

Here are the remainder of the Scotland Yard Constables

I have the flesh tones done on the remainder of the Scotland Yard Company. There are also several Pirates & a WW 1 German Armoured Car in the painting queue.

As well tomorrow night I will be playing another game of Bolt Action with Dave.

  1. Since when did they start issuing Scotland Yard with olde timey vibrators? "Oh, this will teach the suffragette! Oy!"

    1. All those ladies suffering from hysteria have to be appropriately calmed down!

    2. Lets not forget they also carry their cuffs, well on their way to the Shades of Grey Company

  2. Now then, now then! They are great and it's nice to see their uniforms properly dark. I've seen many which are far too blue!

    1. Thanks for the comment Legatus, thats precisely what I was looking for myself. I am using the Midnight Blue from Folk Art. They are double coated, which I find I have to do with all the folk art paints. Still have a bit of an issue with this colour have an odd reaction to Matte spray, but they look good outside of the photos.

    1. Thanks Michael, I will certainly be watching your next bath to see how your handling the tweed overcoats.

  4. Thanks Phil, though I must say these 4 constables are likely the easiest of the bunch to get painted up as they have a lot less of a colour palette.
