Pulp Alley & Zombicide Black Plague Abomination!

Tonight at the club, Bruce ran us through a game of Pulp Alley using his Gangsters & Cops. I have these rules which I bought several years ago now, but had never gotten into a game of it.

Bruce changed that this eve.

The scenario had 4 groups searching for a still. Some such as the gangsters were going to use the still, whilst the Cops & Rocket Corps were looking to dismantle it.

The first plot point is located in the building with the roof removed.

Violin Vinny takes down a cop. The cop failed his recovery & was removed.

At the other end of the table, Bruce & Craig were battling it out inside the building. The plot point had been recovered by Bruce however.

The second plot point was located near Scott, who sent one of his beat cops to check it out. Alas the Challenge was exactly that. With a single dice, it was going to take some time to complete.

After numerous attempts, Violin Vinny is finally put down & out

The remainder of Mad Dog's crew made it a point of honour to take down the man responsible for Vinny's demise.

For my first time giving the game a try, I was quite happy with how it plays out. Your higher level guys will remain longer throughout the battle, though even some of the level 1 guys were being a pain to remove, with them passing their wound rolls.

As well I have now completed the Abomination & another Walker for Zombicide Black Plague. The Abomination is quite a cool figure. When I realized that his ribs had been ripped open & upwards from his abdomen, it created an interesting option of painting some bloody shreds of tissue. He also towers over the other Zombies, as well he should.

And just another couple of photos of him posing solo. Does my happiness with how this guy turned out show yet?

So that's it for the fun today, it's time to be off to bed. So here is looking forward to the release of the new Warhammer Quest game on Saturday!

  1. I have always been interested in the Pulp Alley system, particularly their Perilous Island expansion, something to explore in more depth perhaps?

    1. Most definitely Michael. I look forward to playing it again. For a man of your machinations, the creation of tokens for plot points, clues, etc; will be boundless.

    1. Thanks Pat, Bruce owns all of the stuff from the Pulp Alley game we played. I think most of his vehicles are from Blue Moon, his figures a mix of companies.
