BEF - Platoon HQ & a Group shot

Today I finished up with the Platoon Sgt & Boys-AT Rifle team. In fact the glue isn't even dried on the bases yet 😀

First we have the Platoon Sgt. This is a metal miniature from 1st Corps, which counting the original chevrons was merely a Corporal, but he got a field promotion & an additional painted chevron.

Next is the Boys-AT Rifle team. Again these are from 1st Corps which has a fairly extensive range of figures for the BEF.

Here is an image of the Platoon HQ. Of note, is the Boys-AT Rifle needs 2 members from a section to deploy it as it comes without crew.

Next we have the Infantry Platoon

And finally a photo of the completed BEF force thus far.

So what's next? Well I will begin working my way down the support lists. I've already selected out a Medic & Adjutant figure. Thanks for visiting.

  5. WOnderful to see the whole platoon, plus supports finished and in a group shot!.
Now all you need is the medic and adjustant as stated, and maybe a couple of stretcher beaers, a logistic dump with orderlies, HQ runners, Intel officer and assiatant, a gunnery officer plus observer etc. etc. - I've always found that a project is never really finished.

    1. Your right Joe, for every bayonet on the front, there are 3 others behind supporting. I will be going down the list starting with list 1. I've also got several troops of the various tanks sitting near the paint table. Wanted to be sure I had a troop strength of each for some larger games...then there are the several other squads that can be cobbled together.
